Under the Patronage of The Minister of Tourism, more than 100 VIPS, Lebanese Personalities and Celebrities gathered to witness the launch of “Dinner in the Sky” at BIEL, Down Town, on June 11, 2010.
David Ghyssels the creator of this unique concept was present for this Premiere. Media representative and VIPs got the privilege to experience fine gourmet gala dinner held by “La table d’Alfred” celebrating it 3rd year of success in Lebanon.

At 50 meters above the ground, the guests embark on a journey to treat their taste buds to culinary delights and enjoy the world from a different perspective! 
A crane lifts a table 50 meters from the ground. “The Dinner in the Sky” platform is purposely built and seats 22 guests per sitting. In the centre of the platform, a personal chef and assistant prepare the finest cuisine to absolute perfection for a unique culinary experience.

انطلقت يوم السبت 12 حزيران "المائدة الجوية" التي تتيح لزبائنها تناول الطعام في الجو والتمتع بمشاهدة العاصمة من فوق.
والمائدة اشبه بسلة ضخمة تتسع لـ22 مقعداً تربطها حبال بعمود ضخم يرتفع بها الى حوالي 40 متراً، وبعد تناول الطعام تعاد الى الارض لإنزال الزبائن والصعود مجددا مع آخرين. ويعرف هذا المطعم بإسم "عشاء في السماء" وينتشر في 16 دولة.

ويوجد على متن السلة المعلقة طباخ ماهر يتولى اعداد الوجبات بينما يتكفل ثلاثة نوادل بكل جسارة بخدمة اولئك الزبائن الذين يستخدمون احزمة امان لتثبيتهم على مقاعدهم في اماكنهم.
ويمكن لكل مقعد ان يميل الى الوراء، كما يمكن ان يتحرك المقعد ايضا بصورة نصف دائرية بمقدار 180 درجة لكي يتسنى للزبائن الاستمتاع تماما بتلك التجربة المثيرة.

am not sure about the prices in Lebanon but in Dubai it was 100$ 3l ras

Dude, you can't eat on a roller coaster, the food gets all over the place and it gets very messy.

who said one will eat in a roller coaster that's non sense, I meant its better to spend this money on a roller coaster or somethin else rather than this.

btw, what do they do if someone wants to go to the toilet :P
