Hello there,

Let's dedicate this thread for exercising tips.
Please answer the below questions and add some #tips or #facts to optimize exercising efficiency.
  • What kind of exercises do you practice, do you do it alone?
  • Where do you do it?
  • What time during the day and how often?
  • Do you use any machines or tools?
  • Do you take any protein or energetic products?
  • What kind of food do you eat and what do you avoid?
  • When do you sleep and how long?
  • What's your goal, is it for losing weight / getting in shape only?

Well although sarleh about 7 months mwa22af bas that's what I used to do and what i'm gonna go back to doing after summer:


What kind of exercises do you practice, do you do it alone?
mostly practicing with weights and such cz I practice Basketball 2 times a week so I dnt need the Cardio stuff

Where do you do it?
In the Gym

What time during the day and how often?
winter: at about 5
summer: at about 11 (at times 3)


Do you use any machines or tools?

Do you take any protein or energetic products?
Protein and Amino Acids

What kind of food do you eat and what do you avoid?
stuff that has Proteins in it and less fat, avoid 2aleh w stuff fiyon zeit ktir, Sea-Food is very helpful aswell

When do you sleep and how long?
I try to sleep for a minimum time of 8 hours, in summer I sleep at 3 a.m. and wake up at 12-1 so it's about 8 hours, eza na2esneh nom I usually get VERY sleepy and actually sleep ba3ed el dohor

What's your goal, is it for losing weight / getting in shape only?
getting in shape, especially for basketball use

Add tips, the more the better
Don't have lots, I can answer questions but I can't get up with tips on my own

basicly the same as confucious but I don't take protiens and amino acids, just eat food rich in protiens and drink milk it will do the work, unless you want to be the next Hercules :P I go to the gym to gain weight and get in shape, I'm 72kg I want 75kg..I don't like to be thin.

Tips:
- Don't take protiens and testeron and those stuff, protiens are ok compared to testerone..(you don't really need that much)
- When exercising with machines and wieghts, don't add too much weight that you find it hard to complete, make sure you complete all the sets.
- Ask the coach to teach you how to do a new exercise set, sometimes you don't notice ur doing it wrong which will cause other muscles to work and causes u trouble (pain in the back for example)
- I see that you have lots of free time so try to follow a schedule..ma t2attish ktir the more you follow a schedule the more you get results.

I practice jogging, alone with some exceptions.

Where do you do it?
Open air, couldn't stand the boring treadmills anymore.

What time during the day and how often?
7:00 AM, used to do it 3 times a week and now increased to 5

Do you use any machines or tools?
Music player :P

Do you take any protein or energetic products?
Nop, i don't think i'd need it for jogging, I'm already doing well

What kind of food do you eat and what do you avoid?
Baked food, brown bread, grilled meat. I avoid fried food, chocolate (except black), traditional bread, chips...

When do you sleep and how long?
From 10:00 PM till 6:00 AM, applying this since 20 days now and amazed by the results.

What's your goal, is it for losing weight / getting in shape only?
Losing weight is one of them even though i still have couple of kg to lose, feeling energetic, healthy and satisfied is priceless

Add tips, the more the better
  • Exercising in the open air is more efficient than the gym.
  • Exercising in the morning is more efficient than the afternoon; Early
    Morning is rich of oxygen and you will have enough energy to practice longer since it is the first thing you're doing.
  • According to some studies, music can increase your ability to exercise between 10 and 20 percent more.
  • Both arms and feet should be moving back and forth straight.
  • Breath in from your nose and breath out from your mouth. This is extremely important.

Currently None,last year i used to pratice Aerobics, body building, and jogging.
  • Where do you do it?
For Aerobics and bodybuilding at the gym, jogging i used to do it on Amchit sea Side Boulevard.
  • What time during the day and how often?
Aerobics 3 days per week 7:00 pm
3 days body building 7:00 pm
Daily jogging except Sunday 6:00 pm
  • Do you use any machines or tools?
For Body building some of the basic machine i wasnt intending to have big muscles just put in shape
  • Do you take any protein or energetic products?
No, No, No, No
  • What kind of food do you eat and what do you avoid?
I avoid None
  • When do you sleep and how long?
Donno, usually specially in summer 4-5 hours
  • What's your goal, is it for losing weight / getting in shape only?
Stay on my current Weight and get a little shape.
  • Add tips, the more the better
don't eat directly after jogging or exercising, rest for an hour and eat what ever you want.

Oh one more thing try to avoid eating after 9:00pm
