That's a really big step and i personally believe Qatar is by far the only country that supported Lebanon for real and helped it to find solutions for its endless problems.

إستقبل العماد ميشال عون مساء أمس في دارتة في الرّابيه أمير دولة قطر الشيخ حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني.
وقد اتّخذت الزيارة طابعاً عائليّاً إذ رافق سموّ الأمير عقيلته الشيخة موزة، ونجله الشيخ جاسم، وكريمته الشيخة هند. هذا وكان في استقبالهم إلى جانب العماد عون عقيلته السّيّدة ناديا، وكريماته ميراي عون هاشم وزوجها روي هاشم، وكلودين عون، وشانتال عون باسيل وزوجها الوزير جبران باسيل.     Tayyar.org

I guess GMA and the prince of Qatar became very close friends since 2008, and as they said it is a familiar visit, of course without forgetting that GMA is currently in my opinion the 2nd man in Lebanon after SHN.
Now concerning Qatar and its love for Lebanon, i personally didn't forget yet the news in 2006 telling that Israeli aircraft were stopping in US military bases in Qatar in order to get missiles/bombs and throw them over our heads!
