Google Waves Goodbye

I was waiting to get a wave invite when it was first released. But I was disappointed later I liked the idea but didn't use it. It's nice but needs a larger users base, not only for gmail, they should make it a feature where every internet user can use it, and wants to use it, this is where it becomes interesting. The best pic I saw that summarizes the situation was this;

i was one of the first to get it and i thought i am somewhere ahead of other internet users.
then i discovered that i didn't use it not a single time except those for testing purpose.

Some people found it complicated. This is normal since it was new.
But Google should have opened the system long time ago instead of basing it on invitations.

Ma khas, Gmail was based on invitations too and it excelled knowing that back in 2004 Google wasn't as popular as it is today let alone that Gmail started regular sign-up in 2007 which is 3 years after.

You cannot compare an email service to GoogleWave.
Now people have Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter... So they might ask themselves why do they need GoogleWave. There is a misconception here, GoogleWave isn't just a social tool, it is much more than that.
