Default Roumieh Prison, what's going on?

There's a total chaos in Roumieh prison, police units taken as hostages and the situation has been a total chaos for the last few days.

What's going on there?

Some of them are locked there since 5 years and even more without trial , some of them appear to be innocent in the end.some of them dont have bathrooms , some done small time crimes etc.. they are right in their requests.

I am pretty sure that Geagea's victims are thinking the same way.

Geagea's victims are wishing the same thing also.

But anyway, when someone is being jailed for years without being conducted to trial, when a jail made for 1500 prisoners is handling more than 6000 prisoners which means: 4500 prisoners are sleeping on the ground and 4500 prisoners are not having their basic rights in sleeping and having a shower or using a toilet... and when the most dangerous criminals and thieves are running the most important positions in the country while poor people who didn't commit any crime or have just been suspects of crimes are being thrown in Roumieh.

When all of this happens, we cannot blame the prisoners if they did what they did.

maybe if your luxurious self were not so privileged and had to live as some people in Lebanon do, you would have done the same as all those prisoners.

Positivity in the world is the only way you get anywhere, it is the responsibility of the state to make these people behave in better ways. A prisoner in Lebanon becomes more of a criminal after he leaves the prison ( if he ever does) than when he enters it.

I despise judging people in that manner.

Ofcourse all that taking into consideration that these prisoners may actually be innocent and they are having their human rights violated.

They dont have a right..take out these who are not guilty in what they are accused of , and the rest they must suffer.
Prisoners are expenses on the government...
If guilty u have to suffer...Human rights my ass , i dont want to pay a single penny for someone who killed or raped a girl.
