I bought a book about VB.NET and I am currently learning this programming language, to apply what I learned I started This program “Quote+” that helps people Quote their reply in the forum with the username in the quote, I know the forum can do that but the forum only quotes the selected text once with the name and then you have to manually quote every part, In Quote+ you only select the part you want to quote and Quote+ quotes it for you with the name included, I know it’s not a program you can’t live without but remember I am using it to learn VB.NET and I am still a beginner so this program’s role is to Help me learn stuff about VB before anything else.

I would like to thank Mitzidupree for testing the application for me and detecting a major bug I was able to fix.

This is V 0.7 of the app, what’s different from the other version is that:
It’s a Vcoderz Special edition version with:
-Links to Vcoderz’s site and Forum
-Vcoderz Logo
-Vcoderz Smilies
-Vcoderz buttons
+ The Fix of the bug detected by Mitzidupree

I added a help file with the application, I think everything is in it so you should check it to see how the app exactly works

Quote+ is an application designed to help people divide their replies in an Internet Forum.
I began working on it while learning the VB.NET language so the application is very simple and I will try to add more options to it when I learn them.
Quote+ should work with any VBulletin Forum but the Smiles are only designed to work with www.vcoderz.com forum.

Quote+ only works with VB.NET framework 2 installed on the PC, if you update Windows regularly VB.NET framework 2 should be installed if not you can download the file from: (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en ).

btw i think u got an error in it.
when u click quote it's not quoting the original text.
i think you should make it like this

yourreply.text = "[quoti=" & username.text & "]" & originalpost.text & "[/quoti]"

i had to call it quoti so the bbcode don't use it as quote :P
maybe i m mistaken about how it works.
but it's very well organized same for the manual

Actually your supposed to select one part of the text and press quote it, and it will work, coz eza bass it quotes all the text ma ella ta3meh se3eta l app bil marra.

And about the code first it was like this but when I pressed the button I allways ended up with a missing part so I made hidden text boxes with [quote= and ] and [*quote/] w the program used to copy paste them warra ba3d, it worked 3andeh but didn't 3and Mitzi so I changed the code w made all the stuff I needed in string that I add up together and bil ekhir I make reply=yourreply.text so zabatit 3and l kell bass just a question do the smilies work 3andkone? coz they did 3andeh and didn't 3and mitzi
