Women have always been a second level citizens, extension to men and sex tools in most religions and Arab societies.

Mentality wise, we haven't improved much since the 15th century.

you're assuming my aim was encouraging debates and respecting people when really what happened at the time was that I had just read the article and I became furious, that people who claim to be standing for all what is good and pure and divine actually stand in the way of protecting women from violence at home. and so I came out here to bash everyone, and it looks like I succeeded at that
