his money, yostofel, nchalla yomboset with his special numbers. whoever is worried about the poor can help them himself, we cannot judge others for what they are doing.
he wanted the numbers, he had the money to buy the numbers, he bought the numbers. it's very simple, he did not break the law, he did not do anything unethical. I don't know what is so bad here? it's only 150 thousand dollars, in the US people are spending tens of millions on their dogs...

I am surprised that you even equate it with not being unethical. How can you tell people what is ethical or what is not based on the law which changes from every country to every country and even on a smaller scale than that ? Just because it seems to you that the capitalist values are sacred does not mean that they do not hide transgression of human "ethics" and rights. Just because they are established and widely practiced does not make them actually solid. Throughout every topic all you do is echo western values/traditions regardless if they really in essence are contradictory and problematic. |

yes you are right in that point, I cannot equate the law with ethical unethical. However I am talking about the law in most countries...
since when are you guys advocates of communism? ![]() my personal views are that we need a welfare system, we need a system of taxation that increases the taxes on the rich and taxes the poor less(don't wait around for that to happen here though) to me that would be the ideal law. but no one should lose sleep at night because they want something but their money can be used to help others... also, maybe the money spent on those special numbers are actually useful. I remember our telecom ministers are the first people to come up with these ideas, and I remember they were supposed to help our telecom sector somehow. it's not like he took his money and set them on fire la yeddafa 3layon... edit: I also seem to echo western values and laws in most of my topic because they appear to work it's not because I love these countries more than my own or because it seems "cool" to do so. They just seem to work, and I am not talking about the US, I'm talking Switzerland, Sweden etc... countries with 0 poverty, empty jails, high life expectancy and no wars in more than 500 years...what's not to like?
