My htc sensation fell from me since 8 months until now alot of times , alot of times from a high place and once tar menne 3al taree2 w sa7ab eddeme on its screen , not a single scratch on the screen (Gorilla glass) only a small scratch on the top left body (merely a 0.1 cm , a dot) , and many times it fell directly on the screen side , nothin happened , then i tried scratchin the screen with a needle , not a damn scratch happened . so i really dont know how your Samsung screen broke unless this version you have doesnt have gorilla glass

Keep dropping your phone, and eventually the screen will break.

I ddnt say its impossible to break , still mine survived many heavy drops until now , and i never put on a cover.
