إذاً اين هي التحقيقات وأين المعطيات ومن سهّل الفرار ومن سهل الدخول؟ وإذا لم يكن كذلك فأين هي التحقيقات ولماذا تمّت تصفية كل قيادة فتح الاسلام او استمرار الاعلان عن مقتلها، ولماذا مات شهاب قدور بعد اعتقاله؟ ومن الذي يخفي المعلومات ولماذا يُرفض طلب تأليف لجنة تحقيق؟ ولماذا قتل شاهين شاهين؟
خلال لقاء بين احد المفاوضين السابقين مع «فتح الاسلام» وأحد كبار ضباط الشمال في الجيش، يسأل الضابط محدّثه إن كان يعتقد أن التأزم السياسي في لبنان يسمح بإعلان أجوبة عن هذه الاسئلة، فهل يتحمل الوضع القول إن هناك طرفاً لبنانياً سهّل؟ أو حتى ان سوريا لها اية علاقة؟ او إن فتح الاسلام مولتها جهة خليجية؟ أو أن الصراع داخل البيت السعودي انعكس في لبنان بأشكال عدّة؟

اعلنت قيادة الجيش - مديرية التوجيه في بيان لها اليوم "انها قررت تحديد يوم السبت الواقع في 6/10/2007 العاشرة صباحا موعدا لإقامة الاحتفال التكريمي لشهداء الجيش صانعي النصر في مجمع فؤاد شهاب جونيه، على ان يحضر المدعوون الى الاحتفال قبل التاسعة والنصف صباحا، مصطحبين معهم بطاقات الدعوة الموجهة اليهم سابقا. كما تدعو قيادة الجيش وسائل الاعلام الراغبة بتغطية وقائع الاحتفال، والتي لم يتسلم مندوبوها ومصوروها بطاقاتهم الخاصة لغاية تاريخه، الى وجوب ايداع مديرية التوجيه في اليرزة حتى تاريخ 4/10/2007 حدا اقصى ما يأتي: - لائحة اسمية بالمندوبين والمصورين والتقنيين (مرفقة بإخراج قيد إفرادي وصورتين شمسيتين).
