The best MP4 player is QuickTime 6 - you can install the basic version, and if you want more features (like making MPEG4s) you can upgrade. It'll handle AMR audio (Nokia) and AAC (the current MPEG4 profile), as well as the 3GPP codecs and variants (Mobile MPEG4, and Profiles 4.3 and 5.1).

i cannot understand why mp4 is not working with windows media player, nor winamp, not even real player, neither acdsee

if you want a program to read the mp4 file and also all other kinds of files u must download this program :media player classic
