you have to make it know every possibility.. but i have another idea in mind, if you know the method by which you never lose (u always win or get tied if the other person knows it) you can make the program check for the position the user gave, and choose one of 2 or 3 good moves to make.. a.k.a badak t3allmo kel el moves, ma fi yfakkir la7alo.. ella eza badak tektob chi ktir sa3b :P W unwritable in c++ w vb w hek osas..

god make it know every possibility is like if else conditions.
usually games like tic tac toe use simple AI like minimax
which means the enemy ealuates ur best move, then starts a loop to give like the best move possible with little loss. then he does it. depending how much u go in the tree it will result in a harder enemy.
this is what u get tought in basic ai classes anyways :P

AI is artificial intelligence, just to clarify.
but chris is suggest you make your own game, use if else or switch case.
i know this is hard and takes a lot of time, but it is feasable.

well actually in tic tac toe the choices are easy.
like write every move on paper and you will end up with lost of conditions and actions. let me see if i have like free 10 mins i ll try someth up and post it here :P

ok as promised here is a small tic tac toe i programmed for u (K)
this zip has the src code (but i only have .net 2005) and the release folder has the exe :P i dont have time to make it fancy so it is win32 dialog box + buttons :P i used a random enemy move, it can be made harder if u want but i think this is enough for a tic tac toe game.

I wanna try to write this in VB.NET! I liked the Idea,
I wrote a black jack game before w it's working (not that hard to do, it's just if total taba3 l dealer > 17 then stop dealing cards for dealer ) the hard thing was to do the cards > Numerical Value (1 to 10) , card # (1 to 52) and card type (valet de coeur........) bass mecheh l 7al, U'll be asked to test my beta soon eza ma 3andkone mechkleh
