Programming Question(C,Java,VB...)

I Suggest u make this thread sticky, so we can all posts our questions here not everyone in his own thread.

anyways i'll start by posting mine:

Any ideas about how to link vb with internet? or how to browse the internet with vb tank u. (VB 6.0)

mm add the component "microsoft internet explorer..." by right clicking 3al toolbox w choosing the right option, thats if u wants to browse, or if you want to connect on any port on any host, use WINSOCK (kamen add it's component, i think esmo microsoft winsock blabla) .. bas to use winsock on another pc,it needs to have it installed, so its better to use C++'s ... nsit chou esmo

bas it works like winsock, w doesnt need to be installed on the pc.. bas etzakar esmo i'll edit my post.....

the actuall use of it is:
I need to take certain info from a website wich is a graph,
Then user enter "X" in the toolbox and on enter i need to retrieve certain info from the website and post it in VB (wich is a graph).

make it open in a IE component, then make a string = the source of the page, use 'mid' to locate the interesting info and make it get the number of characters you need and put them in other strings... :P should work in theory...

طبعا لكتابة وسوم الHtml يجب ان تكتب في برنامج المفكرة
وتبدأ الصفحة بهذا الكود
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
وتحته مباشرة
<HTML dir=rtl>طبعا هذا لتحديد المحاذاة rtl يعني من اليمين إلى اليسار
طبعا هذا الهيد وله تسكيرة </head> في اخر صفحة النت
<HEAD>
طبعا هذا عنوان الصفحة اللي فوق
<TITLE>EQLA3 FORUM</TITLE>
بعد كتابة ماتريد من الوسوم والاستخدامات اذهب إلى ملف في المفكرة

وحفظ بإسم
ثم غير حفظ كنوع إلى كل الملفات
ثم ضع اسم الملف مثلا EQLA3.html
حتا يصبح كصفحة انترنت

طريقة الشرح اكتب الوسم ونبذه عنه ثم امثله للاستخدامه
الوسم <a>..... </a>
يعرف هذا الوسم نقطة إرتكاز (anchor) للارتباط بمستند اخر اومستند في الويب.
إلى ملف محلي <a href ="filename.html">ملف داخلي</a>
إلى ملف خارجي<a href ="<A href="http://www.eqla3.com">معهد">http://www.eqla3.com">معهد الاقلاع</a>

الوسم <b>كتابة النص هنا </b>
يظهر النص المحصور بين بداية ونهاية الوسم بالخط العريض (بولد)

الوسم <bgsound src= "عنوان المقطع الصوتي هنا">
يضيف ملفا صوتيا إلى المستند أو صفحة الموقع
الوسم <br>
يستخدم إلى الانتقال إلى السطر التالي بدون فراغات في الصفحة
الوسم <hr></hr>
يستخدم لوضع خط افقي
الوسم <h1> تستخدم لتكبير وتصغير حجم الخط حيث 1-6 </h1>
