Guyz I Read this story and this made me think how much lebanese people are smart !!! ....
But It wasn't an indian It was a Lebanese guy.......

Well of course lebanese people are smart ... You don't hear too many jokes about us ... no seriously i think lebanese are smart + "7arbou2in" ... from the example you gave it shows how much ne7na "7arbou2in" ... "وين ما تكبّيه بيجي واقف" ... I'm lebanese and proud

- Didn't they make a lot of great accomplishments and became famous in many fields ?
I don't know from where to start ... we have great minds ... and many famous lebanese ... a simple example is the young lebanese guy who found a cure for cancer ... i mean that's amazing ... and made us all proud ... aslo there are many inventors that became icons in lebanon and outside lebanon ... i'm sure other members will mention other names ...

- Why they tend to succeed more in the outside than inside?
Well most of lebanese tend to emigrate at young age due to many causes, and sometimes because of the lack of opportunities ... eno i guess they are taken more seriously outside ... like that lebanese guy who found a cure for cancer ... in an interview he made, he said that he used to be yelled a lot by his biology teacher !!!!

- What is the role of our country to benefit from these minds ?
We need a whole new system ... to start from zero ... each university should allow researches for their sudents ... they should give more opportunities for the graduate ... every idea should be taken seriously ...

They tend to succeed more outside than inside, because outside there are more oppurtonities, what you need is basically infront of you, you just need the idea and to know what you are doing...We need a push from our "Brother" countrys so we can catch up to them

The role of our country is to create for its people more oppurtonities and make it easier to find the resources needed for such amazing creations...Again, as abousoun said, we need a whole new system, we need to start all over from scratch...

Lebanese ppl are smart ijmelan.... bas baddon 7oukoume metel khale2 tehtam bi mosta2balon instead of using their brilliance outside.... We need more job opportunities and care.... Am i wrong??
