Syrian Actions in Lebanon ( Graphical disturbing pictures )

Yesterday was the remembrance of the Armenian Genocide, Armenians in Lebanon and all over the world payed respect to there parents killed almost 100 years ago by the Ottomans. They reminded themselves of the massacre and showed pictures and teached there kids the Armenian genocide History.

Syria committed crimes in Lebanon dating back 30 - 26 - 17 years, but people forget them so here's a small refresh to those with weak memories, please post any pictures/videos/articles about Syrian actions in Lebanon in this thread.

( October 1975 ) Syria-sponsored groups attacks Lebanese villages

On October 9, 1975 Saheka forces attacked the Lebanese village of Tal Abbas in Akkar killing 15 people and injuring many others. The local church was set on fire with the hope of igniting religious strife between the residents.

( 1978 ) Beirut under Syrian artillery assault

On September 30, 1978, fierce battles took place between the Syrian army and the residents of East Beirut when the Syrian forces tried to advance into the area. Syria retaliated with heavy artillery leaving hundreds of innocent civilians dead and many more injured.

( April 1981 ) Syrian army brutally capture Zahle

On April 3, 1981, Thousands of Syrian troops and hundreds of their allies mounted a full-scale attack against the city of Zahle (Largest city in East Lebanon) in an attempt to control it. The city was under siege for four month till if fell to the Syrians. Hundreds of civilians casualties resulted while tens were abducted after the city was captured.

Simply unbearable and outrageous. As a christian, i wouldn't say let them get the same abuses as they did to us, but as a Lebanese and jealous on my country and disgusted by the over-torturing graphics, i will say that God won't let us down and every single occupier that burned our land and killed an innocent civilian will get the extreme punishment which will last forever.

To the Assad family and Syrian regime in all ur sectors, you will get eventually what u deserves and what u did to us will get back to u 100 times more.

This is a big part of our history we should and can't forget.
The syrian troops killed our families and raped our daughters and sisters, treated us like slaves and acted like masters for long long years. Lebanese suffered too much from that occupation that thought that lebanon can be a part of their own nation and can apply their dictatorship regime on us.
Lebanese can't forget the syrian check points and the insults by cheap syrian soldiers who were occupying our own land.
We can't neither forget the lebanese army heroes who sacrificed themselves for this land fighting the occupier till the last bullet.
Looking at the pictures above bring back lot of memories how non human actions the syrians did to lebanon.
Seeing the syrian troops out of the country was a dream for lot of people including myself, it was the end of a dark long nightmare.
The red , the green and the white will always shine between 2 countries that have no values to lebanese.

We won't remove anything from the pics or videos becoz this is reality and this is what happened and everybody should accept the way it was becoz nothing we can do now that could make the scenes more lovely.
