Ladies n gentlemen... Do u agree on euthanasia/mercy killin'? Or u would do all u can 2 make a person important 2 u live longer by the means of high technologie equipments n medicines? U can be selfish n make him live longer through medicins n sufferin' cuz it's not u who's getting hurt OR u can end his miserable life on agreein' on mercy killin' (u able to do that 2 a member of ur family?) ...

CERTAINEMENT PAS, je refuse totalement ce concept.
On n'a pas le droit d'arreter la vie de personne. Et akid je n'accepte pas que l'euthanasie soit appliquée pas seulement sur l'un des membres de ma famille mais aussi sur tout le monde sans exception.

pourquoi?

1. c'est contre la déclaration des droits de l'homme(droit à la vie)

2. c'est immorale et inhumain: qd on l'applique, c.a.d on tue.

3.personne ne sache qd est ce que le patient peut etre sauver par un miracle peut etre(et il y en a plein de cas semblables)

4. La médecine d'Avicenne, on peut la resumer par la phrase d'introduction de "Poeme de médecine":La médecine est l'art de conserver la vie(et pas le contraire) et la santé et , éventuellement de guerir la maladie survenue dans le corps."

5. Le SERMENT D'HYPOCRATE (que tous les medecins et surtout en france sont obligés de le faire) et qui fixe un cadre ethique et moral à l'intervention du médecin , et voilà qq extraits:
-"meme sous la contrainte, je ne ferai pas usage de mes connaissances contre les lois de l'humanité.
-Je ferai tout pour soulager les souffrances.
-Je ne provoquerai jamais la mort...." etc etc etc.

Donc, je crois qu' il ne faut pas que cette idée existe surtout chez les medecins.
et je repete:" je suis totalement contre cet acte inhumain".

lf_rabieh, personne n'a le droit de décider si le patiant doit mourir ou pas, 2enno min 3atana l 7a22 2enno n2arrir 3anno, en plus il y a beaucoup de gens qui ont vraiment tres souffert et ils se sont guéris enfin.
L'euthanasie, la peine de mort et l'avortement je les considère tous comme etant des actes de tueries.

there is a medical order called "do not resuscitate" ... such an order is only given when we know there is no point to put someone on mechanical ventillation ... and many times in my practice i stood beside someone dying and not doing anything for him coz i already know there will be no beneficial outcome for an interference and as Justin said it will only prolong his misery ... and many times i did my best to resuscitate coz we know he has a chance ...

so in conclusion, all depends on the clinical condition of the patient ...

actually, I voted for Medicins n Technologie n faith... but when it comes 2 be ME as the sick person.. i'd rather some1 chose 2 me the MERCY KILLIN'... cuz i already saw what happens to the long sick person ...
On the other hand, i would work on keepin' 'em near of me (not selfish but i just dun have the gutts n the heart 2 chose mercy killin' 2 a family member)...
