Besides, you're quoting ansar as if you mean them as a militia while they are people who joined the army with nothing in return and get orders from the army and they were "liwe2 el ansar".

You're transfering stories you heard, However we all remember when the army was accused of bombing schools then GMA said that the army don't have that kind of bombs and that it was the syrian army and he called for international investigation after being accused by hoss and the syrian occupation back then.
And we know why the mufti hassan khaled was assasinated.

We were in war time and the Army needed people badly, liwe2 el ansar was another liwe2 of the Army but the difference is that they weren't paid since the Army had huge problems and was gathering money from the people if you remember.
What if the army called Lebanese to join it for a reason or another with nothing in return but patriotic duty. You'll call yourself a militia? knowing that all their orders were given by the Army and they were liwe2 da3em to the Army on the fronts.

every org. outside the government and the country rules and regulations is called a militia.
as for ansar, ma ra7 nekhtelif 3al tasmiyi , they were a militia becz nothing was called liwe2 l ansar back then and its was created just to fight LF and when the was finished they vanished.

Yes the ansar helped the Army during the war against LF AND SYRIANS.
You just denied hundreds of ansar who were killed by the syrian occupation. So what you based your thought on is wrong.
I have a video of 800 mb of the Army & the ansar.
