Entreprise: Virus Scan Console

Alright Guyz... I formatted my pc 2 weeks ago... I used to use McAfee Entreprise 8.0 - VIRUS SCAN ONLY i guess (2004 copyright)... My pc was sooo fast n daily up to date "30 sec" update.. so after the format i tried to re-install the McAfee Entreprise & while updating it there's a main zip file called "dat-5063.zip" that always corrupt while updating the software...

So i installed the Trend security suite 2007... but it slowed down my pc... I dont want to install a security suite 100 000 options bi albon n it will slow down the heck of my pc... I tried to search using the search engines to download an ENTREPRISE VIRUS SCAN antivirus... specially the McAfee Virus scan Entreprise (New version) n wasn't available... I have the security suite of McAfee, Norton, kaspersky & Trend... all of them full but I only need the Virus Scan Console to be installed on my pc cuz kel ma bede efta7 7ayalla application bi rawkib el computer...

so guyz, what do u suggest to do?

eh use kaspersky av or is 7 and u will be happy! and if not, t3a tshakka 3ende!

thx bro'.. I installed Kaspersky Internet Security 2006 6.0.0.303 & I only chose the installation option of "internet & virus alert notifications".. n updated it n is workin fine

Roudzz... I installed the software n updated it.. it works amazin n not slowing down my pc... but i have a feeling somethin's wrong.. Im sure that i have btw 1-2 viruses & shi 30 errors into the drive C... n it didnt detect anythin til now, basically... i used 2 always have some kinda trouble into my pc n now everythin's workin' properly w 7asis fi shi ghalat

perform a FULL scan for your computer (it is different than scanning the hard drive) and see if it detects anything. Kaspersky reliability is proven

how r the Kaspersky virus update
-direct update from the internet
-download a file and then make the update(i prefer this update, if not what is the solution to share the update with computers that dont have internet connection)
