Default Re: Adobe Photoshop

introduction to the Photoshop

Adobe photoshop Versus corel Photo Paint

Adobe Photoshop, or simply Photoshop, is a graphics editor developed and published by Adobe Systems.
It is the current market leader for commercial bitmap image. Although originally designed to edit images for paper-based printing, Photoshop can also be used for a wide range of other professional and amateur purposes. manipulation,
and is the flagship product of Adobe Systems. It has been described as "an industry standard for graphics professionals."

Corel PHOTO-PAINT is a raster graphics editor sold by Corel, a software company with headquarters in Canada. PHOTO-PAINT does not have a large market share but is comparable with Photoshop in terms of its features. While most versions of PHOTO-PAINT had many features found in Photoshop at the time, PHOTO-PAINT also included some other features as of then not found in Photoshop, including multiple undos and text on a curve.

Default Re: Adobe Photoshop

I suggest UsingAdobe Photoshop CS Millenium (mostly known as photoshop CS ME), cuz the adobe CS 3 slows the hell of my pc... Photoshop is basically used for EDITING, such as photos, logos, filtering, etc... Basically, the TOOLS Window is the EVERYTHIN

Photoshop cut-out pops out of the frame:

1. Cut out the image: Using any of the software's selection tools you wish, make an accurate selection of the portion of the image you wish to pop.
In this example we used a combination of the Lasso and Magnetic Lasso to carve out the front of the car.
Tip: to save time, cut only the part that will pop out.

Lift the image: Once your selection is accurate, and ready to go, duplicate it onto its own layer by using the "float" command (Cmd/J or Ctrl/J)
You can see the nose of the Jaguar is now on its own layer. (#1 in the layers palette) Note that it's just the nose -- no use to select more than you have to. It will match perfectly with the original image on the background layer and provide a seamless pop-out.

2. Create the Frame: Now, in a new layer, you can create the frame for the photo. Here we simply used a white background with the frame cut out. Layer #2 in the diagram.
At this point you can decorate or modify the frame any way you wish -- textures, borders, etc.

Key Concept: Layer Sequencing. Always remember that the stacking order of your layers affects the final product. As you look at the file, you'll understand that the layers were generated in that specific stack order to achieve the effect - even though they may not have been created in that order.

Also note that we did all the selection work on a COPY of the background, just in case we flubbed something up, or needed to go back and get more of the image. The "work" layer can be deleted, and the whole image flattened when complete.

peace

Default Lesson 1 - make a new photo into an aged one

1 Below is the photo I'll use for this project. I Before starting, always make a duplicate layer in case you make a big mistake.

2 Select Film Grain ( it is a filter , you must see it in the FILTERS list )for the first step. Grain will be set at 4, Highlight at 6, and Intensity at 3.

3 Before proceeding, choose Fade and set to 55%.

4 Now use the Add Noise filter and set it an Amount of 15.06%, Uniform, and Monochromatic.

5 Set the colors as shown below ( these colors are set at the left bottom of the page , they are the front color , and back color )

6 Apply the Clouds filter to the picture.

7 Now select Fade and set to Hue.

8 Select Grain and set Intensity to 24 and Contrast to, then set the Grain Type to Vertical.

9 Fade to an Opacity of 40%.

10 this step is done by going to IMAGE => Adjustment =>hue saturation Select the Dodge tool and set it to Midtones with 100% exposure. Use a fairly large round soft edged brush for this step. Lightly go over the picture once. Try not to cover the whole picture. Then select Hue/Saturation and adjust the Hue if it's not right. Lower the Saturation and increase Lightness.

Hue = halwase (arabic ), Saturation = ishbe3 (arabic)

11 The photo should look somewhat like the one below .

good luck
