could be done in many ways.
one way my friend used to do it, is that he had a cable connection as well as his friends, and they were able to play cs together, and he was able to play with the guys at the internet cafe place (because the owner of the network place is the same as the isp)

w fi other methods, like a wireless connection or anything.

Yes you're right, me and all my friends have the same internet connection, and our cables are connected to the same hub, so simple.

try to create a cs game, let your other friends joing if they can.. so easy to make it work.

Not that only, i used to play CS with a network caffee which is about 2km away, simply because we were on the same ISP, set gateway to the external network card of the netcafe and DNS to the internal network card, and set the mask range similar to the network's and you ll be just like another computer there with internet access

hehe that reminds me , 2 years ago we used to play in a network , one day we noticed that theres other player joining the game , we thought theyr bots , we couldnt kick them , so we chatted with them , and we knew that theyr from abra! , abt 4 or 5 kms away! till now we dont know how they used to play with us how??! note that 4 pcs had internet and 6 ddnt have internet! how did they join us??!!

now for the network thing , can anyone explain in detail how to play with my frnd whos connected to the same isp ??
