دعا وزير الداخلية الالماني فولفغانغ شويبل الأربعاء 27-2-2008 "كل الصحف الأوروبية" إلى نشر الرسوم الكاريكاتورية للنبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، على غرار الصحافة الدنماركية, وذلك دفاعا عن حرية الصحافة. وصرح الوزير الالماني لمجلة "دي تسايت" انه "في الواقع, على كل الصحف الأوروبية أن تنشر تلك الرسوم الكاريكاتورية مع هذا التوضيح: نعتبر انها تثير الشفقة, لكن اللجوء الى العنف ردا على ممارسة حرية الصحافة ليس مبررا".

ونشرت 17 صحيفة دنماركية في منتصف فبراير رسما كاريكاتوريا للنبي (ص)، تحت شعار حرية التعبير. وتم هذا الامر تضامنا مع صاحب الرسم الذي استهدفه اعتداء تم احباطه, وفق الشرطة.

واعرب الوزير الالماني عن "احترامه" لقرار الصحافة الدنماركية, الذي يظهر ان الصحف رفضت "الانجرار الى الانقسام".

وسبق أن دافع رئيس الوزراء الدنماركي اندرس فوغ راسموسن الثلاثاء عن وسائل الاعلام في بلاده، التي اعادت نشر الرسوم الكاريكاتورية، مؤكدا ان الهدف لم يكن الاساءة الى المسلمين. وقال راسموسن في مؤتمر صحافي "من المهم الايضاح ان اعادة نشر وسائل الاعلام لهذه الرسوم لم تهدف الى جرح المشاعر الدينية لدى الناس, لكن في الانظمة الديمقراطية حيث الصحافة حرة, من الطبيعي ان يتمكن الناس من التعبير عن رأيهم". ويصور الرسم النبي محمد وهو يعتمر عمامة بشكل قنبلة مشتعلة الفتيل, وتم نشره سابقا عام 2005 الى جانب 11 رسما آخر, ما اثار حفيظة المسلمين واثار اعمال عنف حول العالم في مطلع 2006.

وفي الاسابيع المنصرمة, قرر السودان مقاطعة البضائع الدنماركية, واحتجت وسائل الاعلام الاردنية, وتظاهر آلاف البحرينيين, كما نظمت تظاهرات في مصر وباكستان واندونيسيا وغزة, من دون اعمال عنف حتى اللحظة. ورأى المسؤول الدنماركي انه "كان من الضروري ان تظهر الصحافة الدنماركية الرسم الذي كان وراء محاولة ارهابيين اغتيال الرسام".

وردا على الاحتجاجات الأخيرة, رأى ان الوضع الحالي "غامض", مشيرا الى ان "دوائر دينية متطرفة تحاول استغلاله" وأنه "من الصعب ان نتوقع" كيفية تطوره. واضاف راسموسن ان الدنمارك "اخذت العبر من التجربة" التي شكلتها ازمة 2006 وانشأت منذ ذلك الوقت "نظاما بالغ التطور لمعرفة ما يجري" ويسمح للبلاد ان تكون "ناشطة جدا تجاه حكومات الدول الاسلامية".

وتسبب إعادة النشر بتصاعد الدعوات الشعبية مجدداً لمقاطعة المنتجات الدنماركية في الأسواق العربية والإسلامية. ومع هذه الدعوات التي انطلقت في البداية عبر المنتديات الإلكترونية وخرجت إلى المساجد والجامعات، شعرت الشركات الدنماركية ووكلاؤها في المنطقة بقلق كبير، خاصة وأنها لدغت من حملة المقاطعة السابقة والتي كلفتها ما يزيد عن مليار دولار.

These pics aren't about the prohpet, neither are they about Islam, but they are about religion in general.
I live in Sweden and there is alot of hate against religion here aswell as in the rest of the European countries. People here are mostly athiests and those who are religious often hide thier beliefs. They see the religious as ignorant.

All lfers are extremists , his opinion is not surprising , this is a pure insult to a relegious figure , the most important figure in the 2nd biggest relegion in the world!
