Guys which laptops do you prefer most and why??

for me i like the toshiba laptops most, and expecially the satellite generation, since they do have many add ons with them, plus ino they have great appearance

Graphics need Apple Macs...
I'll get one as soon as I can... it's one of the most expensive laptops...

screw toshiba

hell yeah for apple's macbook pro. and i loved the macbook air

back to pc, i prefer an alienware laptop

back to reality, i love HP

for the great value they offer (i own an HP dx6667cl)

toshiba aren't bad at all for everything not related to graphics... 3anjad these machines are amazing! ya3ne if you want to but a personal computer instead of your dekstop, toshiba is the only solution... cheap laptops, amazing performance (even in gaming), long battery life (up to 2 hours) etc...

toshiba in lebanon are becoming crap, plenty of refurbished laptops are being sold, plus, the XP drivers support is too bad. we spent 2 days to find an XP driver for the modem of a sattelite A200.
(in fact we used the vista driver of another A200 WTF!!)

no i didn't, but as far as i remember, there are xp drivers for my laptop.
and also i would tell you that generally HP has good support when it comes to drivers

to know if a specific laptop has xp drivers, all you have to do is to go to HP.com and find that laptop, go to the support section, and make sure that every driver is available for xp/vista.

Ya i agree sony is the best,but i have toshiba which i think comes in the 2nd place.

no no no no u forgot the alienware, when u want to pay high, u get an alienware.
Sony is very good but @ a very high price

the value of HP/Dell/Toshiba is greater for the money you pay compared to sony.
