ahhhhhhh finaly F1 fans
![]() ![]() this is the best source of information (official site) click here to check plus you get a live countdown to the next race and there is the option for wich the race time is converted to your own local time this is a saml update: frist there is a samll change in the rules: 1-well all should have heard of the ellimination of the traction control this control is mostly located in the rear of the car it has the purpose of concerving rear tires and automaticly lowering gear at certain speed limit (this is one of the reasons that L. Hamilton is not doing that well overall even if he did win the first grand prix). 2-you do remember the "2 races,1 engine" rule: it has been modified: this year the driver will be allowed only "one" change of engine between two concecutive races during the entire year: FIA felt that if the engine broke once than it might realy destroy any drivers hope to win the chanpionship bcz he will be hurt in the race and in the following race bcz of the 10 position "drop back" but if the engine brock a second time then it will be the teams fault and the driver will get penalized. 3-this year the "gear box" must last 4 races, if not then the driver will be penalized with a 5 position "drop back". 4-and finaly the Q3 of the qualifications is know 10 min instead of 15 bcz the fans wanted so . i will try to keep this thread updated later dudes Last edited by Jess; 03-27-2008 at 08:55 PM. Reverse F1 grids - Williams boss
A radical idea to improve the spectacle of Formula One and make overtaking easier has been proposed by Williams team co-owner Patrick Head. The veteran said races can be boring and wants the fastest cars to start at the back and the slowest at the front. "I would like to see the grids in reverse order of championship position," Head told BBC Sport. "It's the same for everybody, and over a whole season the right guy would still win the championship." source (there is more to the articl) here but if so then the qualification session will be useless, so who ever wins the race starts at the end in the next one....... so what will be the purpose of the Qualifications?? what do you think?
