Helloween is a German power/speed metal band founded in the early 1980s by members of Iron Fist and Powerfool. Helloween is known as one of the pioneering power metal bands.


The original line-up featured Kai Hansen (Vocals/Guitars), Michael Weikath (Guitars), Markus Grosskopf (Bass) and Ingo Schwichtenberg (Drums).

to be honest I never heard of them

well for sure I've heard of them ...
but if I wanted to vote whether I liked them or not, It would be confusing.
The matter of the fact is that I never appreciated this band in the metal scene that much, I'm not saying they aren't talented, it's just that for such famous metal band, they should have been more influential. Anyway, I think they are really good musicians, and the vocalist can have some good moments.
But what really is nice about this band is that even if they go through moments where there music gets weak, they try to always make music that is fun and sing-along like the song : Mr.Torture which has a very catchy intro btw.
Their better albums are their earliest and some later albums: Walls of Jericho, Keepers Part 1 and 2,Better Than Raw and even though I haven't heard it yet, I heard that their newest Album "Gambling With The Devil" is pretty good too setting them back on track after going through alot of downs, especially in their album Chameleon, which isn't metal at all, probably some new style of music they wanted to come up with ... and above the fact that it is musically very weak, it is a "gay" album.

Anyway I gotta vote that I like them ! !
Even though they are not my favorite style in metal, they're enjoyable.


P.S :If you want to listen to the best "power metal" subgenre music, You have to check "Blind Guardian", The true masters of the power subgenre !

Well cant agree or not with you Kexa cz i am not really into metal lol
i just listen to the song and if i like it, whether its metal, rock or even slow one, i download it!

actually concerning the Helloween band, i like 2 songs for them bas
1- Forever and one
2- A tale that wasn't right

3anjad those 2 songs are really amazing starting from the lyrics till the mysic itself.
