if you open the network properties there is something called something client, if you press on it you can see the install button near the properties, install it on every pc ( it is available by default with any windows you just need to enable it) i thik it might solve the issue, if your router/ access point have a DMZ mode activale it and put your IP

Morpheusp, you made my day with this post!
![]() @Dr.Scoo It isn't cool that you didn't really tell me about this! ![]() And the funny thing is that I heard you discussing it with Morpheusp, and now you are both discussing it here! ![]() Connection timed out => the source request is unable to reach the destination or the destination is not replying to the source request! Try to ping your destination first! If everything is alright, then use "netstat -anb" on each side to verify that the port is listening, and try to establish a connection with telnet on this port... Also try to exchange the host, ya3ne if you're the host, change and let your friend be the host and try to connect to him 2aw bel 3akes... Also recheck all the configuration... 2eza ma meshe 2el 7al, then like roudy said, try to wait for the new connection!

1- we got it eddy that you are the pc genius, but when it comes to gaming please step aside ma3 kell 2e7tirameteh
![]() 2- red alert used to have the same issue and it is solved by one method that i mentioned. 3- there is always simple solutions you don;t need to hack the congress to play a multipayer game with your friends, i have 5 pcs at home and i seem to be running all my desired games on them without any telnet or stuff like that.. 4- i never used telnet to solved a problem UNLESS the access points are on different channels. thanks, btw yelli ktabton in my first post enno law manneh mjarrabon bi 2aw2at wejeh machekel w law mannon zabtin ma kenet ktabton.... |

![]() I have 2 PC's @ home, with a network formed by a Cross Cable i used to Play RA2, but it was slow as u know, RA2 only connects via IPX protocol so what should i do to make it fast? the 2 PC's are fast, and when i play it as a single player (Skirmish) it plays smoothly any idea ?

sogelec, go to the configuration of you network cardS, set the speed and duplex to 10mbps full duplex and see if that works.
But first, check the file transfer speed, is it good? i know that u don't need more 15kb/s both ways to play red alert 2, but i'm sure it could be a matter of bad settings.

![]() And games run on PC, no?! ![]() Anyways, as you want, I'm dumb at these things... Quote:
What made my laugh at your method is that you do things and you don't know why you do it, you just do it . And the worst is that you don't remember names . You are posting this in a forum that many people will see it! So at least put full information or just don't put anything!Don't memorize things, just understand why! I'm not saying here that your methods won't solve the issue (It might solve it ), I'm just pointing on the way you wrote it here and the way you deal with problems in general.Quote:
Tene shi, who said that I gave a solution?! I didn't give a solution, all I did was helping in how to look for the problem! You don't start solving an issue without knowing where is the problem! (2ennou yalla shed hal 3az2a w byemshe 2el 7al! / yemken ykoun lezem tshed 2el 3az2a! bas 3al2alile 3raf leish 3ambetshedda!) You manage to play multiplayer games @YOUR HOME! (Here is another case). Quote:
W chou khas 2el different channels! W most of the time, access points are on different channels! what's the point?! (Unless you mean another thing by channel! / dunno what!). I suggest you Google for telnet! Have a nice day (k)
