ok the story is long, and I hope it is not too easy

Characters introduction

Alfred: a fictional character I created, the point of this character is to die first and kick off the plot. Alfred is the boss of a company where Tony, Alias, jak, Billy Sogelec and Black ice works. he is very very rich, but very very cheap, bakhil, mrit, ktir mrit. He is also jess’s husband.

Jess: Alfred’s wife, she married him for the money, and now she is living a miserable life with that creep. Her husband does not let her carry any money at all, he always needs to know how his money is spent

Duce: Jess’s older brother, he loves his sister a lot and he is hurt to see the crappy way her husband treats her, he has been often seen fighting with Alfred to the point where Alfred banned him from ever visiting his house or coming near him or jess


Alias: one of the company’s employees, he is a poor guy(very limited income) he use to be jess’s fiancé but she left him for Alfred because he was rich(little did she know enno bakhil hal2ad ) he still loves jess, but he gave up on her, he doesn’t bother her or show anything. But he knows she is suffering and that aches him too.

Tony: new guy in the company, not much is known about him

Sogelec: a single good looking guy, also works at the company, he was crystal soul’s fiancé before she left him for his best friend Billy. He still loves Crystal Soul, but he also values his friendship with Billy and respects him a lot.

Phenomenal: the police chief, if corruption had a first name, it would be phenomenal. Phenomenal takes bribes from Alfred to let some illegal stuff “slide”

Billy: one of the company’s employees and crystal soul’s husband. Billy is an exceptionally hard woking man, a promotion position had opened in the company and he was hoping to take it. Very ambitious and passionate to his work and he loves his wife

Crystal Soul: Billy’s wife, a faithful woman, she loves her husband and she would do anything for her family, she left sogelec to marry Billy

Black ice: Alfred’s personnal secretary and malek’s fiance, a beautiful girl, and her boss keeps hitting on her in an annoying way

Malek: black ice’s fiancé, he’s a jealous guy he doesn’t like Alfred and the way he looks at his fiancé, and he’s been asking her to quit for a while, but she always refuses

Jak: the building’s guard, he’s supposed to guard the company at all times, but because of the cheap wage the boss pays him, he often complains, does a sloppy job and sometimes even sleeps on duty

The plot

The story kicks off when all the employees of the company (except the company guard Jak) are invited to lunch on Christmas day in some restaurant that no one has heard of before . The boss said he was going to make an important announcement during that lunch, and everyone knew it’s about who is going to get the promotion for that opened position. Billy was so excited about that lunch and he kept telling his wife(crystal soul) “it’s gonna be me, no one in that company works harder than I do”
And so almost everyone was there: Jess(accompanying her husband) Billy and Crystal soul, Sogelec, Alias, Tony black ice, Malek, (he is a jealous guy, and he insisted on coming with her to that lunch) Phenomenal the police chief(well corrupt policemen love their stomachs) of course Duce was not there, since he is not welcomed on Alfred’s table.

So they all sat down to eat, and it was a cheap lunch as expected(the boss bakhil ktir) chwayyet bzourat, w homos 3omroun chi 20 yom, and then the main course arrived, this is what everyone was waiting for(keno mfakrino chi) it was “kibé bil sayniyyé”. Well everyone was passing the plate and eating, just before phenomenal’s turn, it was tony’s turn, after he placed a piece in his plate, Tony licked the knife(hmmm delicious), and at that sight, phenomenal lost his appetite
Then came the big announcement:”quiet everyone, I’ve got something to say, as you all know, each year on Christmas one special employee gets promoted. And like each year, I will proudly give a promotion” and just as billy was about to get up the boss said” Congratulations Sogelec, you got the opened position” at the sound of that, Billy’s face turned yellow, Crystal Soul said nothing but she understood how sad Billy must be. And so everyone drank a toast for Sogelec but then the boss interrupted”excuse me everyone I just got an urgent call, I got to get to my office. And when jess stood up to go with him he said to her” sorry dear I can’t drive you home, it’s kinda far, you’ll need to get a cab. The(crappy street) cab should cost you 2000 LL from here to home, but here are 4000 LL riddillé el ba2wé bas erja3 3al beyt”
Billy who’s blood was boiling inside him couldn’t wait to leave, and he saw his boss’s leaving as an opening. “well we got to be going to, congrats Sogelec” and he shook Sogelec’s hand. Sogelec smiled, he knew that his friend Billy worked harder for it and so he said to him” you should have been standing here Billy not me, and I’m sorry but it’s not my choice” Billy replied” don’t worry about it, we’ll see you around”
And Jess got up to leave, she looked at the 4000 LL her husband gave her and sighted. And just as she was going to the door, Alias followed her:
- jess wait! I’ll drive you home
- no it’s ok, I don’t want to trouble you
- Jessy come on, I will not let you stand on the street waiting for a damn cheap cab

And so everyone went home(it was about 2 pm). On the way home Crystal soul asked billy to drop her off in town:
-I need to do a few things, don’t worry I’ll return in a cab
-what are you going to do
-it’s a surprise

Crystal Soul returned home at about 5 pm
-“surprise dear, I got you 2 front seats for tomorrow’s game”
-“wow that’s awesome, thank you” J
- “well I couldn’t leave you all bummed out like this”
-“it’s ok I got over it”

And just as he said that, the phone rang, it was the police chief(phenomenal), he asked them to come down to the station. In the station everyone( except Duce, there was nothing on him) the police chief explained that Alfred was found in his office, dead, stabbed in the back with a knife, he also explained that the knife was the exact one that was in the restaurant(taba3 el kibbé) and that everyone’s prints was on it, except for himself, Jak and Duce.
‘you’re all suspects gentlemen, if I were you I wouldn’t leave town”


NOTE: the story is not related in any way to the characters involved, la men el love wala descritpions. and I don't want to see comments on that

i agree with Malek, it was a nice story indeed

so who is the assassin ?

my own theory goes like this :

- since the fingerprints scan excluded phenomenal, jak and duce so I think it was one of them ... (ma badde 3a2idda ktir)
- I'll exclude phenomenal since he is benefiting from Alfred
- That leaves jak and duce ... both have the motive (as most of the others)
- First impression was duce is the killer (brother of jess hated by Alfred and not invited blablabla), while jak looked like the kind of a sleezy guy who doesn't give the impression of murderer (ma3 eno haydol bi5awfo aktar chi :P)
- But since he was killed in the office ... so someone should have access to the building ... duce can't have the keys even from jess since he is not allowed to approach her ... while jak as the building guard may have those keys
so my final impression is that jak is the assassin :P

Edit : i want to add how jak got the knife since he was not invited and it would look stupid to go the restaurant and expose himself (unless he sneaked and stole the knife bass kamen bala te32id ktir halla2 :P ) ... anyway he got it from Crystal Soul when she went to buy tickets (dallit 3 hours ta tjib tickets la game ... in lebanon ma fi 3aj2a 3ala chebbek el tazekir :P ... and she has the motive : to avenge her husband's right for the position ...)

Yeah she was my first suspect when i read he was killed in the office and since in the second post she wasn't mentioned at all ... la hiyye wala Malek ...

Eno at least she would've clean the knife ... heik everybody would look as a suspect ...

Halla2 why Crystal Soul didn't clean the knife and made from herself a suspect ... she can always say i don't have access and she has an alibi of buying tickets and at the same time maybe 3am twa2i3 Black_ice who have both access and fingerprints as well (Crystal Soul can't clean her fingerprints only and leaves the other ones ) ...

edit : bass ma totla3 bil e5ir Crystal Soul the killer and she took the keys from Billy or jak while sleeping on duty and sneaked into building :P

I really like the plot
The murder weapon was the same knife they used at the resturant,so someone must've either stole it back then,or came back and stanched it later.The last person with the knife was t-o-n-y- and there are no other details about him,which makes things suspicious
I have some ideas,but I'm saving my vote for a little later
