it's gonna be hell doing so though because some servers might be old, no longer in service, full of hacks, impractical, or just an irrelevant search result

lol yeah but when you enter the game theres a place in the game mode that say online play when i enter it tells me that the version is old but i cant patch it everytime i try im getting an error

yes but it doesn't matter
because even if you do patch it and you connect to EA games, they are going to check your registration code and they will know your copy is illegual, and they won't let you play

like I said, I never tried but there might be private servers

private servers are servers made by ordinary people, and they allow other players to connect to them, these servers would not be related to the company of the game in any way so they have no way of knowing wether or not you have an original game

try to google private server+zero hour and see what comes out I don't know

edit: I just noticed your "other than private server" post. well no, there is no way for you to fool the official server, not that I am aware of
