Heroes of Newerth

this thread is about Heroes of Newerth game, which is heavily based on the all famous DotA. in fact, it is mainly DotA with stunning new graphics and it has the appeal to less nerdy players due to some enhacements made.
the game is still in closed Beta but many here are playing it. one good thing to mention about this game is that it runs on LINUX, MAC and Windows.
so for those who are playing it.. what do you think??
and for DotA players, will you switch to this one when it will be released??

How the hell is Heroes of Newerth not be good enough for you and Warcraft 3 is?

Heroes of Newerth is DotA with mega improvements, I'm totally switching from DotA, but I wont ignore DotA updates, I'll play them both But I'll prefer HoN of course.

yeah actually heroes of newerth doesn't oblige you to be a nerd who memorizes the names of weapons and recipes and how you should build them. not to mention the amazing graphics and all other aspects of gameplay.

roudy that's nonsense, they're both EXACTLY the same when it comes to that matter, it's eventually getting good items for ur hero depending on what ur facing, same aspect of the game for both DotA and HoN and as for why it isn't good enough, it's cause the feel of it is just not the same, diffrent graphics with higher resolution makes it suck, u just see ur hero/creeps alot smaller, specially when trying to Deny/Kill a creep, u can't exactly see his health, i know u can zoom in, but then u'll lose sight of whats around u, DotA gives u the ability to see their health bar in a more larger way, and still have ur sight as wide as HoN's, other than that, HoN is deffo better, graphics wise, effects wise, everything is better! but till they fix the bar, i prefer DotA

for me, dota on 1024*768 on a 1440*900 widescreen LCD is like hell.
you can always lower the resolution to see bars bigger.
