betting odds for Germany - Italy are 1.72 for Germany, 3.3 for a draw and 4.5 for Italy.
i cannot understand how someone would expect Italy to win in Dortmund against a team full of talents.

LMAO at the ones who think Italy will beat germany tonight

---------------------Neuer----------------------
Lahm------Mertesacker-------Hummels----------Shmelzer
--------------Khedira-----------Schweinsteiger----------
Muller--------------------Ozil--------------------Podolski
---------------------Miro Klose------------------------

this lineup made the 2010 WC 1/2 finals (if we remove hummels and include friedriech) but this season, hummels has been the best bundelsiga defender..he is being compared to Beckenbauer because of his passing and ability to go forward...Ozil & khedira went to real madrid and are 1st team playes, and shmelzer has been a rock at the lb position at dortmund...I think germany will beat italy.....with ease.

I didn't care for who will win tonight, but after reading your posts, I want Italy to kick some german ass.

It's good to see some of the Dortmund young players joining the mannschaft. Hummels is just 21, same as Schmelzer.

Schmelzer will be an asset for the team, especially with the absence of a strong player to fit that position. Badstubber and Boateng weren't really good at that position. Podolski used to have bad times trying to do their job (or half of it) most of the time.

Also keep an eye on Mario Götze (attacking midfielder), he's only 18 and ready to kick some asses. Hopefully we'll see him in this match.
