I read today that the fuel prices were decreased by 5000L.L.
When are the changes going to be applied. And why is this exceptional, why not always? What do you think?

Minister Bassil and the C&R bloc want to limit the fuel price on a certain fixed price (for example 30.000LL regardless of any change in the gas gallon on the international level) in addition to removing all kind of taxes which will lower the prices more. but guess who is refusing this demands!!
What has been done yesterday was reducing the prices by 5000LL.. but the max price wasn't limited by a certain fixed price, so any future gas crisis in the world will affect the prices in here and we will witness a new raze in the prices. So the only solution is to fix the fuel prices on a certain fixed price that doesn't get affected by the international crisis and changes. and i hope this solution may be reached when the new government is formed, because those who were opposing this step have announced today that they will not participate in the next government.

Before reducing or limiting the gas prices ... they should find a new way ta ydakhlo massare 3al dawle ...
For example they need to increase cigarettes/alcohol prices. Fiyon y2amno madkhoul mni7 ktir lal dawle by this new law w kamena limit the huge number of smokers in the country. They can also increase el gamerik on cars so bet khef el 3aj2a w they decrease the imported damaged cars from the West. PS: If marijuana becomes leagal in Lebanon fina nsaker el dein bi 2 years !!

2- Removing all kind of taxes requires new taxes on different things. Is the plan for that done? is it well planned? Quote:

If bassil took him 6 month to decrease the prices in 3000 lira, then maybe when Fuel is no longer used we would have that in hand. Hope he will be Minister of education barki bi yen2oti3 l Tabshour! On Second note: If your beloved Minister is really interested in the fuel and the ppl, he wouldnt be running after the Interior ministery he would have stayed in the Power ministery and dig out the Petrol he talked about for six month, but since it seems to be impossible for him then what the heck.. |
