I really can't understand how could anyone stand with that asshole.

Everyone started creating stories such as:
- she tried to suicide
- she robbed his house
- why did she come if she doesn't want to work?

Guess what folks? that's not working, that's slavery.
She came here to find a better future for herself just like the Lebanese youth who leave this country.

If any of the above points would have ever happened, it's not his job to apply his jungle rules on her. There's police and laws to take care of that.
No wonder we live in a jungle when basic human rights don't exist in our dictionary.

بعد المشاهد التي هزت الرأي العام اللبناني..الكشف عن هوية الشاب الذي اعتدى على الفتاة الأثيوبية

كانت مشاهد الفتاة الأثيوبية التي تتعرض للضرب أمام مبنى قنصلية بلادها بمثابة جريمة مشهودة لكل من شاهد تلك الصور فتحركت الدولة اللبنانية على أعلى مستوياتها وفي مقدمها مجلس الوزراء وتحرك الرأي العام اللبناني مستنكراً بشدة ما حصل ومطالباً بعقوبات قاسية ضد من ارتكب و يرتكب أعمالاً مماثلة.

علي محفوظ هو الذي ظهر في الفيلم يعامل فتاة أثيوبية بعنف شديد وقد تمكنت الـ"ال بي سي" من معرفة هويته من خلال رقم سيارته. وهو حاول في مقابلة معه تبرير فعلته من خلال نفيه أن يكون قد تعرض لها بالضرب . وأكّد علي محفوظ أن العاملة الاثيوبية حاولت الانتحار أكثر من مرّة وانه حاول التعامل معها بانسانية كما لفت الى انها رفضت الذهاب الى المطار لتسفيرها.

واعتبر وزير العمل سليم جريصاتي في حديث للـ"ال بي سي"، ان التعرض للفتاة الأثيوبية بالضرب بمثابة إخبار ، مشيراً الى ان الوزارة قررت على أساسه أن تتحرك باتجاه المرتكب الذي تبين انه أحد الموظفين في مكتب الاستخدام. وكشف جريصاتي ان الوزارة استدعت مكتب الاستخدام لاجتماع عاجل يوم الاثنين مشيراً الى تسجيل شكوى رسمية.

من جهته، شدد وزير العدل شكيب قرطباوي على أن ليس هناك من أي مبررات تجيز ما جرى ، مؤكدا في حديث للـ"ال بي سي"،ً أن العدالة ستأخذ مجراها وان النيابة العامة فتحت تحقيقاً مع صاحب العلاقة.

اما في القنصلية الأثيوبية فيتذكرون جيداً هذا الإعتداء مؤكدين في حديث للـ"ال بي سي"،أنه ليس الاول من نوعه ويناشدون السلطات اللبنانية أن تتدخل لحماية الرعايا الأثيوبيين .

وفي كاريتاس، تعرفوا إلى هوية الفتاة الأثيوبية وهم كانوا يتابعون وضعها منذ أن أُدخلت إلى مستشفى دير الصليب منذ نحو أسبوعين .

قد يكون من حسن حظ هذه الفتاة الأثيوبية أن صوراً التقطت لها وهي تتعرض للضرب ولكن كثراً غيرها من الذين يعملون في المنازل ويعنفون لا يدري بهم أحد .
