[HELP]Choosing a good UPS

I need a new UPS for my brother's PC, his UPS is not "resisting" anymore and is not keeping the PC up and running in the time between when the electricity goes off and the generator comes on, so adeich lézim tkoune ouwit l UPS????

My brother have:
1- 17' LCD Screen
2- P IV 2.6 256 RAM, 128 MB VGA

PS: before this UPS "died" it used to work perfectly unless he was playing a game, so the new UPS need to also be able to "yhadeh" the games.

get a 800 watts one, it will work perfect.
some new ups can be pluged into the pc, and with a driver u can know many things about the power issue.......... and things.

P4 2.8GHZ ,1.5Gb rams and 19" Lcd
when the electricity goes off the PC restarts w byerja3 bidour 3ade!!!.
what do u think is the problem?
and what ups is the best?

of course the ups. it might not be delivering power immediatly after the current cuts off, or it does not support your huuuuuge system.
get a 800W one, it will be enough.
as for brands, i dont know, and i wont advertise.

Thanks man that's what I got, the program that comes with it rahib, it tells you addeich jeyeh l kahraba mine l dawleh (yesterday 209, now 214), adeich l batery charged, adeich frequency l kahraba w it automaticly shuts down the pc and closes everything eza ra7 totfeh l batery.

Note: It can also be a PSU problem. check the power of the PSU

yeah it could be, very plausible, but if this scenario if being repeated a lot, the psu would have blown up. yeswe ma yeswa john A
