Emile Lahoud Patriotic or not ?

As we all know that Emile Lahoud forces attacked the gma forces in 1990 with the syrians and forced him to leave leb and go to france and he did a lot off wrong things and these days their r people who concider him a traitor (non patriotic) and other who concider him a patriotic person
so what do u think?

For me, Emile Lahoud as person is nothing. I will never forget what he did to GMA in 1990 and how he ran 3end el souriye like a coward. I never saw him as patriotic and won't. Today he is defending only the position he is in, not for us wala for the opposition. GMA never defended him he only defends the presidency status in Lebanon. The only power in the christians hands that the 14 feb gang are trying to take over by their dirty twists. I don't think that Lahoud when he came by force as president for the second time he was that patriotic. He never was patriotic and his actions now are revenge more than anything else even if it helps the opposition cause.

Of course lahoud is not a patriot same for hariri jumblat and all the gangs.
actually if you want to look at it with whom stood with the syrians FPM is the only one who opposed it all the way and i mean FPM ONLY!
lahoud worked for the syrians was elected by a pro syrian parliament.
but lahoud is powerless now and we don't want another puppet for another occupation. it's not a matter of lahoud but a matter of presidency that the old syrian puppets and new west puppets are working to occupy once again since he no longer fits their needs and doesn't represent the lebanese population.

i think that president lahoud isnt a perfect patriotic person but he is not a traitor sure he did some bad things in his life either as a general or as a president but i think he also took some patriotic decisions especially those that r related 2 mokawama and i think he is better than many other political men in lebanon

1st, we have to define what's "patriotism" and how we rate people as patriotic or not .

as for lahoud, for me , he made many crimes against lebanon, he was like hariri and joumblat, a syrian server , he protected their interests in lebanon .
plus , he's like the others , from the crew that participated in destorying lebanon .
