Rachid Karameh file to the International Tribunal !!!

أعلن الرئيس عمر كرامي اليوم أنّه بصدد ارسال مذكرة لمجلس الامن لضم جريمة اغتيال رشيد كرامي للمحكمة الدولية

This is a very clever step for Karameh and a justfied one also. Rachid Karameh was also a prime minister who was assasinated in 1987, but the difference is that the killer is free and on the verge of running to presidency !!!!

But i personally think that the tribunal is all bought by Hariri family and they won't accept to put this file also.

Let's see how the mouwelet will say again that we against the ma7kameh since a member of the opposition want to include the assasination file of his brother into this tribunal.

i believe that all political assassinations should be looked into....

I think that really nothin will come out from this NOW but later on when all this Goverment will be changed believe me mr GEAGEA will come back to JAIL and so many others..

Well i think he is right and his right to ask for including rachid's file to the I.T..... This guy wants to squeeze Geagea in the corner.

nice idea and also rachid karameh was a prime minister when he was killed , rafik hariri was not a prime minister when he was assasinated , and we all know the killer of rachid , so i hope that i t will look after this case

وقال الرئيس كرامي بعد اللقاء: "سمعنا سمير جعجع يصرح بانه فخور في الاحكام التي صدرت عليه، اي انه فخور بقتل رشيد كرامي، وهذا جعلنا نقرر بعد التشاور مع حلفائنا بأن نقدم مذكرة الى مجلس الامن في ان نضم جريمة اغتيال رشيد كرامي الى الجرائم التي ستنظر بها المحكمة الدولية، فالعدالة لا تتجزأ، ورشيد كرامي الذي كان رئيسا فعليا لمجلس الوزراء، وقد قتل في وضح النهار وبطوافة عسكرية واحيلت قضيته الى المجلس العدلي الذي هو اعلى سلطة قضائية في لبنان ويضم خيرة قضاة لبنان ومنهم الرئيس رالف رياشي الذي وقع على الحكم، وهو اليوم موثوق من الجميع لانه انتدب لان يذهب الى الامم المتحدة، وشارك في وضع مسودة المحكمة الدولية".
واضاف: "سنجري في الايام المقبلة مشاورات حول هذا الموضوع، وستوقع المذكرة من بعض النواب وبعض الشخصيات اللبنانية ومن قبلنا وتسلم بعدها الى مندوب الامم المتحدة في لبنان".
وردا على سؤال حول توقع قبول مجلس الامن ضم ملف الرئيس الشهيد رشيد كرامي الى ملف المحكمة ذات الطابع الدولي، قال الرئيس كرامي: "نحن نأمل ذلك، ومن خلال حفظ الرأي العام اللبناني، فالعدالة لا تجزأ. اذا كان دم رفيق الحريري عزيز على اللبنانيين فلا اعتقد ان دم رشيد كرامي غير عزيز عليهم".
