lol, my sister once told me about a story of a lady who went into a competition where they should drink as much water as they can ... without going to the toilet ... she went to win a vedio game for her children ...she drank too much ....that her head started hurting and she felt really bad and then she died of water intoxication ...
but ..lol ..you can drink as much as you want ..inno maximum el wa7ed eddesh byeshrab ? ..Dont worry ...no one will die of drinking water ...unless he drinks gallons in less than an hour, without going to the toilet ... and still with that he has chances of survival .. so Drink water ... |

Interesting thread ..
There is a condition known as hyponatremia, or water intoxication. It is the extreme opposite of dehydration. This condition occurs when the balance between salt and water levels get out of balance. It can lead to swelling of the brain and leakage of fluids into the lungs. It normally occurs when athletes sweat heavily and lose both salt and water, yet only replace the water. In other words, it isn't the water that cause the problem, it is the lack of salt. You are drinking much more water than your body needs, however, as long as you are urinating regularly (which is a sign that your kidneys are functioning normally) you should be fine. Answer the following questions to help u calculate how much water u should be drinking : http://nutrition.about.com/library/b...calculator.htm Last edited by Malouka; 08-15-2007 at 11:51 PM. my primary fluid is soda, lol. well I suppose if you drank alot of water is as if you are drowning but we need an experts opinion on this. but what I heard about our water in lebanon that it is very dirty and the water we drink is bad, a professionnal once told me that the water used in a pepsi bottle is cleaner than the water you drink and no I'm not kidding, that is what he said
![]() I also heard from my biology teacher that what we call "may chirib" from the sink and "may min el 3ayn and river and whatever" are not suitable for drinking and he pointed out that in modern countries the only water considered as clean drinkable water is only the one you buy which is filtered and cleaned and steralised whatever... the rest are dirty |
