طالب الاب جورج رحمة الامن العام اللبناني بعدم عرض فيديو كليب الفنانة اللبنانية هيفا وهبة بعنوان "مش قادرة استنى" على القنوات اللبنانية والسبب ظهور صليب ضخم على الحائط في خلفية مشهد استعراضي راقص نفّذته مع مجموعة فتيات في الفيديو.
وفي تحقيق لجريدة الأخبار، ، أكد رحمة انه تلقى كما هائلا من الاتصالات المنددة بهذا العمل الذي «يمسّ مباشرة مشاعر المسيحيين، لكننا لا نستطيع فرض أي حكم على هيفا، لأن الكنسية لا تملك سلطة إلا على أبنائها».
ورأى أن مسؤولية المؤسسة الدينية تكمن في منع كل ما يمسّ القيم الروحية والأعراف والتقاليد، مذكراً بحادثة سابقة، حين تدخّلت الكنيسة منذ 8 سنوات، ومنعت الفرقة الموسيقية cc666 من دخول لبنان، وإحياء حفلة غنائية في «الفوروم دو بيروت» بسبب كلمات الأغنيات المهينة للمسيح والديانة المسيحية.
من جهتها، قالت سينتيا مهنّا، مساعدة هيفا الشخصية، في اتصال مع «الأخبار» من أستراليا حيث تحيي المغنية اللبنانية حفلات هناك، إن «الهجوم غير مبرر، فنحن صوّرنا المشهد الاستعراضي الراقص في مبنى كليّة الفنون في الجامعة اللبنانية، لا في كنيسة كما تصوّر بعضهم، فهل يعقل أن تجيز الكنيسة أصلاً تصوير فيديو كليب؟ كذلك، المشهد راقص وليس إيروتيكياً مثلما وصفه بعض الصحافيين

Before talking about 3efeh and these stuff let them drop away the golden sticks they carry and the latest model cars they drive and the private jets they use or their suites in hotels or reduce the prices of their universities.
I am not defending hayfa but i had enough from the religious men who never stop giving lessons to this and that while they act like masters.
I remember when they were all against the TV cables in Lebanon. the only thing they're doing here is trying to keep their hand and control the people who unfortunately still kiss their hands. at least hayfa wasn't killing people in the name of a religion and has its slogan a religious sign and massacring people. these stuff they never criticized.

I think that many other more horrifc things in this country were done bi 7a2 the christians, it is not the story of one simple thing that will make the church now get her voice really louad to have our rights preserved. But I think also that the reply of the director is wrong and does not justify this act.
