the media has to be equal distance from all parties just like New TV.
the media that FPM will launch will not be called orange-tv for sure!!
we better wait and see. because FPM has shown big progress outside the government and honestly i think they made even more than the government did so far.
the FPM channel will show the truth as it is. it won't spread propaganda bring fake news for a party against another.

There is nothing wrong with a politically-inclined station, the problem is including 'Lebanese' in a station meant for a faction or group. Manar, we know Hizballah. Future for Future. NBN for NB (nabih berri:P what a coincidence). but LBC does not admit it!

to be honest LBC has changed its news lately
because they lost a lot of support especialy in the christian street because of spreading lies against general aoun and hizbollah.
but lately they stoped those actions but still supporting a party against another but not spreading lies anymore.
anyway as gino said above every media belongs to someone either LBC future manar or nbn which is normal in lebanon but at least there must be red limits which cannot be broken and known as LAW

Yes it might have changed a little...
But still, it always criticizes and opposes another party...and sometimes gives personal opinions when shouldnt...
For example, the Dialogue was going and when the polticians showed out, everybody was positive and optimistic....and they said that nabih berri showed them a map that proves the lebanese "Shebaa Farms"
...But LBC comes and adds...." Maybe this map is old ..."
I mean, GEAGEA and is being positive and kind of seems to agree on the Shebaa farms issue, so what in the hell are you doing ......

I have this small technique I use to avoid being influenced. Simply try to watch as many news bulletins as you can. I know it is time consuming but you will get used to it.
I start at 7:00 with NBN, at 7:30 I see Manar, just the introduction. At 7:45 NewTV (which is the best so far) and finally at 8:00 the LBC. (NEVER Watch Future :x , they suck).

Another thing; I think the three most important issues needed to build a free democratic country are:
1-Excellent electoral law
2-Free but CENSORED media (the channel should be punished in case of spreading lies)
3-Strong penalties against any politician who dares to abuse his power (stealing, etc..)

Right now i find some TV stations very educating as FTV and LBCI, coz every time someone turns on the TV to these stations, I go into my room and read a book ...

Hope this change with OTV
