I think that this challenge took enough time... so I will post the solution...
First of all the persons who solved this challenge are: Dr.Scoo, joseph28, Tinman, Kingroudy, polo, Rami_s and wewe. The solution: I use the firefox browser... so when I surf sites my user agent will be Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.14) Gecko/20080404 Firefox/2.0.0.14 In this challenge the php page check if my user agent is "vcoderz"... Am I using "vcoderz" browser? Is there a browser called vcoderz? For the time being I can say no :P (maybe later in the future)... so all what we have to do, is an user agent spoofing... we have to change the user agent of our browser and make it vcoderz... At least there are two ways to do so: 1-Install the firefox add-on "User Agent Switcher" , and create a new user agent with it named vcoderz... Refresh the challange page and you are done. 2-write about:config in the URL bar of the firefox browser and then create a new string called "general.useragent.override" and give it the value "vcoderz" ... Refresh the challange page and you are done. Note: in the first method you can easily restore your original user agent, but in the second you have to do a right-click on the string you created and then reset it... |
