the ordinary formatting needs about 1 hour ro delete/install the windows
but the expert needs to format the hardisk in deep way , that format needs about 5 or 7 hours ( depending on the number of the bit in the hard drive ) norton Ghost , simply may format your hard drive in just 5 or 10 min ( uncompressed imaging ) and about 1 hour ( compressed imaging ) Norton ghost has one single problem , it MIGHT not leave the coded program to work properly after the ghsoting but when you want a clean windows , the solution still in : the expert formatting ( 5 hours )

On the desktop for example, create a folder, name it (alt+0160)
Then change its icon to a hidden (transparent) one :P |

First of all hello everybody, this is my first post. i don't know if this trick is posted before because i didn't read all the tricks.
This is one of my favourite tweaks as it makes a huge difference to how fast your machine will 'feel'. What this tweak does is remove the slight delay between clicking on a menu and XP displaying the menu. MAKE YOUR MENUS LOAD FASTER Go to Start then Run Type 'Regedit' then click 'Ok' Find "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\" Select "MenuShowDelay" Right click and select "Modify' Reduce the number to around "100" This is the delay time before a menu is opened. You can set it to "0" but it can make windows really hard to use as menus will open if you just look at them - well move your mouse over them anyway. I tend to go for anywhere between 50-150 depending on my mood. Nice forum, keep up the good work. LebEyeC |

open about:config in Firefox, search for this "browser.search.openintab".
put it to true. now when u want to search using the google bar in the top no need to open a new tab. Firefox will do it. |
