I can remember my grandmother and grandfather telling me stories of how they met and their friends met when they were all young, married and remained married until death did truly do them part...
In todays world people meet, get together and if the "spark" isn't still there then cheating becomes an option or just up and leaving. Is it that we no longer have the same standards and beliefs that our grandparents have? What do you think guys??? Share wit' us

I think even back then, the situation was nearly the same ...
maybe back then kenit el ossa "masstoura" because of habits w customs and etc ..., now sarit "mafdou7a" aktar ... eno akid there was cheating and dumping w hal 5abriyyet ... but the mentality (as i assume) was let him do whatever he wants as long as he returns to my bed everynight w bala fadayi7 ![]() Thank You ...

well we live in a disposable world everything is easy to replace..even people..
![]() I think that if divorce had been as easy and accessible as it is now and society had been more like it is now, people wouldn't have stayed together as much. Fifty or sixty years ago, most women didn't have all that many other options other than get married and have babies. If two people got married back then and the relationship became abusive or whatever leaving simply wasn't an option like it is now. Aren't we lucky to be able to get divorced so easily?

You really have a bleak view of marriage and still get married because all in all stability is a very good thing....
Think 1700 times and make sure the person you choose to be with is really the person you need to be with...Good luck P.S. I think most marriages are successful, and a more unbiased look at all statistics can show that. |
