TMM, you know i agree with you. However, remember, the Patriarch manno wazeer aw mwazzaf...Boycotting him will not lead to anything worthwhile. The resignation of a Cardinal, especially the Maronite Patriarch of Antioch is near-impossible... And even more so in a country where a president and a cabinet need so much effort and time for the slightest hope of resignation...

Also, the best thing to do is ignore the Patriarch's political decisions, but always respect him. He is the head of our Church and our religious authority after all, and if we are truly believers, he is so because of Divine Intervention.

Guys, stop attacking the Patriarch. No matter how much you dislike him, this is a million times worse than attacking the presidential seat... Attacking the presidency is undermining the key Maronite role in Lebanon. Undermining the Patriarchy is shaking the very foundations of our beliefs and society!

Gino, i couldn't have said it better myself...
No attacks should be made on the patriarch himself, or his position. there should be no discussion in that. he is a religious person who has every right to have political opinions.

I'm also dissapointed with his political views, but he is trying to create ties between all christian leaders. and with "ثوابت الكنيسة" this is a great step forward which proves that we and the Patriarch are planning and fighting for the same future for lebanon.

أم نحن فلنا عندها سؤالان مهمان عليها ان تجيب عليهما بصراحة
أولاً- هل هي راضية عن مستوى التمثيل المسيحي في الحكم الحالي وفي الدولة عامة؟
وهي التي قالت اعذر من انذر واشتكت من الاستئثار بالحكم من قبل فئة معينة ومن الغبن الفاضح في التعيينات المعروفة
ثانياً- ما هي الوسائل الناجعة برأيها لتحسين هذا التمثيل داخل الحكم؟

Of course Praying is not enough to obtain the rights, but maybe there is something new in the bishops visit yesterday to GMA and other leaders, let's hope at least!!!!!!!
