Why would someone do such thing?

Hello there,

I am pretty sure many of you have passed through this before or something similar.

Yesterday i went down to my car to find out that someone (unknown) scratched my car on 2 doors using a key.
I was really shocked not only for the damage it caused but why would anyone do such thing for another person belonging knowing that i never park at anyone's place or caused any harm to anyone in anyway.

My mother had similar problem during the last elections and it was done because of GMA picture on the back of the car.

However, my car does not have any political signs so i cannot assume it was done for political reasons.

I heard stories about people doing such things for no specific reason but just to have fun by ruining other's belonging.

I heard LOT of people camplaining about these stupid and thug acts that unforunately happens frequently.

now what can u do? simply nothing, or you have to hide near your car and spot someone doing this for your car, then run towards him and hit him with something on his head, maybe byet3allam.

It happened to me as well ... however, the scratching wasn't on the doors but on "ghata el motor" ... i guess he was trying a new thing

I really don't know why exactly someone will do such thing ... spite, envy, mental retardation, psychological issues, stupidity or just being evil ????!!!!

p.s : i don't own a fancy car or even a clean one that may look fancy :P

it happened to me once..and wallah ta2et 2ad ma kinit ma2houra. i had only had my car for a couple months. and you just dont understand my someone would get pleasure from ruining or hurting something. eventually all i could think of was that god would punish this person and get back at him for me

its so disturbing knowing people enjoy doing such things

Mine is barely 2 weeks old, the scatches are not deep inside though, it's somehow hard to notice them especially that my car color is silver.
I just wish i busted the bastard doing it.

In your case xcoder, i do think that it is for political reasons, you don't need political signs on your car to provoke them and you know what i mean , probably it's someone who knows you or hate you for some reasons, or someone just jealous.

Anyway the best solution for such things is a small hidden cam that watch the place where you park the car, so if it happens again you'll be able to watch the records and catch the pig.
