ok, here it goes:
1. Extract wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe to the new folder 2. RUN wmfdist11.exe 3. RESTART your COMPUTER 4. RUN wmp11.exe 5. RESTART your COMPUTER 6. Start Windows Media Player 11 this is illegal  thread should be locked

man it works on non genuin, using the method i posted or the one hizbullah suggested, anyway i'm confused why the method i posted did not work for me!? cuz i have wmp11 installed this way
