use the DNS of your connection... Proxy... (i assume you shared the connection correctly)

i did that and still not working , the problem that im getting crazy cuz i did the same thing 1000 time before on xp but im unable to do it on that damn vista

Man the network worked i forced it to connect but the weird thing is that the internet isnt shared thats really weird cuz i shared the internet on the ethernet card

Icemaker can u tell us if you are sharing internet from your desktop or from your laptop??What i mean is..is your laptop that is giving the internet out or your desktop?

i am sharing my internet on my desktop that has xp on it ,

my laptop with vista is taking the internet from the desktop

u tried doing this right ?

gharib man..it must be working inno ur using xp.el problem akid shi bil configuration in ur vista

try adding the http service

man i already added all these services i even stoped the firewall, i know all these tricks, i think its a problem of compatibility between vista and XP, well ill try to do another thing and that i make my XP desktop as a server i think it should work

ok good then..vista sucks.xp is much more versatile than vista
