A first grade teacher had a small number of children gathered
around a table for a reading group. After the story was read she gave the children a work sheet to do. She thought they may have some problems so wanted them to work on it there. She heard little Johnny say very softly "damn!" The teacher leaned over and said quietly, "We don't say that in school." Little Johnny looked at the teacher, his eyes got very big and he said, "Not even when things are all ****ed up?!" Damn 2 A teacher was quizzing her students and asked Johnny, "Who signed the Declaration of Independence?" He said, "Damned if I know." She was a little put out by his swearing, so she told him to go home and to bring his father with him when he came back. The next day, the father came with his son and sat in the back of the room to observe. The teacher started another quiz and finally got back to the boy. "Now Johnny, I'll ask you again. Who signed the Declaration of Independence?" "Well, hell, teacher," Johnny said, "I told you I didn't know." The father jumped up in the back, pointed a stern finger at his son, and said, "Johnny, if you signed that damn thing, hell, you damn well better admit it!"
