Default Illegal characters for Windows file names!

The following reserved device names cannot be used as the name of a file in windows:
CON, PRN, AUX, NUL, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, and LPT9.

However, you can still rename your file "Windows", "Bill Gates", "b****", "f***" and many more ...

That Is If You Try To Rename Them With Keeping The Extension.
Try Renaming Them And Removing The Extension.

If You Try To Rename It Without The Extension, You Don't Get The Error "File Already Exists"

When I use a hex-editor and try to "Save As" the file with for example "com1"
I get the message:

Please choose another name"

However, I succeded in renaming the file... :P
