I am Looking for something cheap and good, i need to run linux on it, and i am not looking to buy a system for 1000$

Its seems AMD has a big variety but the problem, i dont know which one to choose, they have Phenom, Athlon, bla bla bla, if someone has an idea about what CPU with what Board, need somthing high performance but not for gaming, i dont care what is the VGA lol

get the (TTC) intel E8400 200$ with the intel dp35 mainboard 120$ and 3 gigs of ram for 90$ . and here you go a super pc for 400$ . add an hd for 50$ and a vga for 80$, thats a max of 550$ with a psu.

4 mb cache , and the front bus speed sucks , like i told you stick to the Intel E8400 200$TTC , read the reviews about it , best cpu done untill now , best price , best performance , and 6 mbs of cahce , 1333 mhz front bus speed , 3 ghz of speed .

oh sorry about that , the amd has a 1800 mhz bus speed , while the E8400 has 1333 mhz, but that doesnt matter much .

You need high performance and your not looking for gaming
Get the E8400 w raye7 rasak.
