well basically nothing changed , lowers $S for lower money .

Check this out:

Before:
Kif toli3 ma3ak disappointing?
Before you had to recharge for about 43$ for a duration of a month now you only do that with 22.30$.
However you should consider that you are able to speak:

Before: (22.3 x 100)/47 = 47.4 minutes
Now : (22.3 x 100)/36 = 61.9 minutes

You got around 15 minutes extra speaking my friend + double days.

Note that this is only the first step in price reduction it will be followed by many amazing steps such as:

• Reducing the minute price more.
• You will be charged based on seconds eg: 10 cents per 15 seconds...
• End the monopole in the communication field which will provide us a better service for better prices.

Not to forget the pressure that was made on Alfa to improve its service AND the work on the DSL level and all that in a matter of few months.
In my opinion that's a great step!

Reminder: when Lebanese launched last year a campaign urging people to turn off their phones as a move to reduce the phone bills Marwan hmedeh answer was: The calls were increased by 1.5% today.

For the reason of the increase of the recharge phone cards & phone
bills (cell phones) a young group of Lebanese people decided to put a stand
about that issue therefore, we are going to shutdown our phones
on the 1st of May. We wish that you would agree with us and forward this email to all the Lebanese subscribers that had enough with the way things are going (=SER2A)...
We really need your help. The reason of this is to lower the expense of the recharge cards (hope itworks, but at least we would show our stand)...
So may you please put a reminder on your cellular phone and tell
your friends, relatives. Thanks for your help ..

i said disappointing , cause dad wont give me more than 25$ a month now , so im stuck with the 22.3$ now instead of the previous 38$

Anyway i recharge today , 40,000 L.L for the 30 days , not 37500!!
and you get 22.7$ .
i also heard that all alfa subscribers units are transferred to $s , jst like mtc

I have just recharged my line...I'm alfa...I recharged the 90units card, I got 22.72$ for 35 days
