I'm Not Gonna Read The Whole Thread, But I'm Gonna List The Reasons Why We (The FPM) Lost The Elections:
- The Electoral Machine Of The FPM Was Pretty Weak For The Last 4 Years, We Only Started To Work Few Months Ago, Whilei The Other Side Started Working More Than A Couple Of Years Ago.
- The Other Side Had Money Facilities, They Payed Way Lots Of Money To The People Than We Did.
- The Allience Between FPM And Hizbullah Made FPM Loose Votes All Over Lebanon. Especially After The Lies Of "Wilayat El Faqih" And "Joumhouriyyit El Moutelaté".
- Batrak Sfeir Was Against Us.
- President Michel Sleiman Was Somehow Against Us.
- The Sunni Turnout Was Pretty Huge At Some Places, This Was Because Of The Lebanese Diaspora Brought To Lebanon Only To Vote.

We Got To Admit That We Failed In This Elections, And Start Working On The 2013 Elections.

One reason to lose is that "rou2asa el aklam" ken ktir mennoun mouwelet w specially in zahle where they removed 12 boxes and i don't know but why they are all chiite ? it's ****ed up ... it was simply a game and please explain how sami gemmayel penetrated in Maten cz they removed some boxes from burj hammoud... if you check the maten results on tayyar.org on the news they were saying that 110000 person voted in maten but "el aswat el mafrouze" are 96000 please explain

this election system is based on what percentage you get not on whose majority,
for example, X,Y, and Z were candidates for elections,

X gets 20%, Y gets 25% and Z gets 55%

on the old law, Z gets all the seats in parliment
but on this law, each gets according to its percentage
i.e. Z gets 55*128/100 ~ 74 seats in parliment....

this law had many benefits for minorities or parties that are spread all over lebanon with small members here nd there, such as LCP (lebanese communist party) they are somehow a good quantity, but due to their presence by minority relative to others, they never get a parliment seat

by far the law is the most fair one, but here you;re not ought to vote for a candidate, yet for a party or movement or a bloc

Hi everyone
I read the article posted at the beginning of this thread and whether we agree with it or not, is not the real issue. The article raised a few good points. It's true that this is our 2nd official elections and people worked really hard, but we should really put the 2009 elections behind us and start organizing ourselves in a more efficient way.
The Tashnak are a great example about solidifying their efforts and man power to win an election. We should study how each party went about the elections and try to learn things from it.

i totally agree that everything and everyone was against us, from the money paid, till the voters from abroad and with all that we won more seats than 2005. Tayyar has many followers, and these people love what FPM stands for, and that's why we still have the christian majority.

My suggestion is that General Aoun should start forming committees all over the country with monthy or quartterly reports submitted to him or the deputies on what's needed in each city and what's being done to solve the problems we find.

Finally, 2009 is gone, we have 27 deputies and not 5! we should start working for every day and not for the next elections. that's how we win. Let's not waste time and energy on blaming this and that on the results. let's criticize ourselves and work for a better tomorrow!

Why did FPM won maten though it was looking to be the hardest battle?
They prepared well for that one.

I have FM friends from Zahle and I know they started preparing since they lost in 2005 for this one.
Come one, Skaff chose the Sunni candidate 1 week be4 from el mais familly who votes usually 100% for harriri.

Kora and Batron, I have no idea about these regions + beirut 1 too but I guess it's the same reason.
Instead of preparing for the battles , we were watching abdo sa3ed and fghali stats. In words we sucked
