I'm assuming you don't own a console, because if you did you wouldn't have such a technical and one-sided view on the matter.
I have a high-end PC, a PS3 and I have access to a 360(my brothers).
I don't hate PC gaming, in fact I have played more games on my PC than my console, the reason is of course piracy
And yet I prefer sitting on my soft couch, in front of my TV than on a chair in front of my PC. This is also an important part, what hardware that are in the damn thing isn't everything, it's the whole experience that matters.

In order to keep playing my PC games the way I like them, I have to keep my PC's hardware up-to-date, and that alone is a giant pain in the as$. Most games are released with more bugs in them than ever and on top of that there are the never-ending crashes, freezes and chopping that you get because you're running something in the background.

While with my PS3 I only have to pay for my games, there are fewer bugs and I've had my PS3 for about a year and a half, I think, and I'm sure I've had less than 10 crashes. Also rarely any installs are needed, better support from the developers, better gaming community and most games have usually more solid gameplay.

The fact that they are released so often makes it a bigger problem. The game developers want to use the new technology (which makes very little difference in-game but ups the hardware requirements) which makes you need to upgrade your hardware.

If your ram breaks and you still got the warranty how long does it take to replace it? Two days to sending it,two days for them to examine it and package a new one, two days till it arrives. So about one week, which is about what it took for my brother to get his 360 replaced.

How often does something in your PC break and how often does a PS3 break?

@Adam, your assumption is true, i don't have a console... but i don't know why do i have to go through all this again, in order to play games on a pc, u need a powerful VGA only, because u simply have to own a PC for other stuff..

VGA only, what about the CPU, the motherboard for the CPU, the 4GB ram, the HD monitor. You're telling me that the VGA is the only component that needs upgrading?

Besides, what about my other arguments? The bugs, the crashes, the installs and the amount of bad quality games.
